It is common for Internet service providers to offer advice and antivirus software to maintain your digital devices security at home. It is common for Internet service providers to offer advice and antivirus software to maintain your digital devices security at home. Everywhere, we are constantly reminded of the precautions to take, the instructions to follow and the digital security procedures in place. But are we that strict when it comes to our home office? This training aims to recall fundamental security concepts, with an emphasis on the work context of translators, terminologists and interpreters, at a time when remote work is exploding. We will cover security concepts and terminology, including digital and physical assets of ITTs.
We will look at best practices: passwords, backup / recording and archiving, digital and print assets, audio, databases, home checklist. This training is intended to be adapted to the needs of TTIs. Your participation before and during the course is welcome. Please feel free to let us know any questions you would like to see addressed at formation@ottiaq.org.
