Translating Administrative Decisions

Deadline for registration: November 28, 2025

This webinar is intended for generalists who would like to become more confident in translating decisions rendered by administrative tribunals. During the first half of the webinar, you will briefly learn about various provincial and federal administrative tribunals, for example, the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada or the CNESST, their function and jurisdiction and the laws and regulations governing them. You will also learn how to perform relevant legal research to help you translate decisions rendered by these tribunals. During the second half of the webinar, you will discuss and translate an actual decision rendered by an administrative tribunal.

It is highly recommended that participants take “Introduction to Legal Translation” before taking this workshop.
