Revising machine-generated translations

This is a practical translation-revision webinar for translators translating into English. The webinar is intended for generalists and focuses on reviewing the translation of a document generated by DeepL, an AI translation tool openly available on the internet. After a brief theoretical overview of the benefits and limitations of this tool, participants will have the opportunity to discuss the machine generated translation and make any changes they feel are necessary. The goal is to make participants aware of the potential pitfalls of using AI in translation, to reflect on the meaning of the words they use in their translation and therefore become better translators overall. »
