Professional certification under Quebec’s Professional Code
By law, OTTIAQ members have the exclusive right to use the titles of certified translator (C. Tr.), certified terminologist (C. Term.), and certified interpreter (C. Int.).
Listing in the OTTIAQ online directory
This allows the public to verify that you are indeed OTTIAQ-certified, but more importantly, it attests to your skills and helps you get noticed.
Professional liability insurance at a very competitive rate
Professionals are required to have professional liability insurance. Members covered by OTTIAQ’s group plan enjoy a very competitive rate.

OTTIAQ publishes articles in its magazine, Circuit, conducts technological monitoring, and shares other information to keep its members informed and up to date on language issues.
