Monitoring the practice of members of a professional order is one of the key tools implemented by the Professional Code to protect the public. All professional orders are required to inspect a portion of their membership each year. Such inspections, conducted by inspectors who are OTTIAQ members, are governed by the Professional Inspection Committee.
The OTTIAQ Professional Inspection Committee determines an annual general monitoring program on the practice of the professions, which is then approved by the Board of Directors.
The Inspection Committee is comprised of Carole Trottier, C. Tr., C. Term., Chairperson; Jean-Jacques Lavoie, C. Tr., Vice-Chairperson; Jeanne Duhaime, C. Tr.; and Marielle Hébert, C. Tr., C. Term.
