You may also apply for training equivalency as a professor, lecturer, reviser or manager.
Certified members of a Canadian association
If you are already certified as a terminologist and are a current member of a Canadian association of certified translators, terminologists and interpreters governed by a law, you may become a member of OTTIAQ by applying for certification by way of a legal authorization to practise.
You will be required to complete the training on ethics, professional conduct and professional practice,if you have not already done so.
Once you have completed the training on ethics, professional conduct and professional practice, you will be asked to fill out the OTTIAQ membership roll registration form and pay your membership dues for the current year. Membership dues are reduced for individuals certified and governed by the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario (ATIO) and the Society of Translators and Interpreters of British Columbia (STIBC).
